A relic from the era when Switzerland was an exotic destination for the early English tourists, Markuskirche is a former Anglican church built in 1898. The charming stone church with painted stained-glass windows has been extensively renovated in new-gothic style. The nearby attractions include a house where the great German composer Richard Wagner lived with Cosima Liszt. • It just happened to pass by this buildung. It has something to do with queen Victoria. It's unique in it's way. It's not a must see, but if your near it, go and check it.  more »
  • A must see, although most visitors don't know about it. Gorgeous architecture! We were in the crypt for a private concert, is was so touching sitting there with the music.  more »
