Start off your visit on the 12th (Thu): ponder the design of Trevi Fountain, explore the ancient world of Pantheon, don't miss a visit to Piazza Navona, then steep yourself in history at Roman Forum, and finally explore the ancient world of Colosseum. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, then contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, and then explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill.
