Monte Carlo of Switzerland

Located in the popular holiday region of Ticino, Lugano is the largest Italian-speaking town in Switzerland.
Get out of town with these interesting Lugano side-trips: Chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Paolo (in Ascona), Valle Verzasca (in Lavertezzo) and Bellinzona (Castelgrande & Castelli di Bellinzona). There's lots more to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Lugano, explore the ancient world of Monte San Giorgio, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Monte Bre, and stroll around Parco Ciani.

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
On the 24th (Thu), admire the verdant scenery at Lauterbrunnen Valley Waterfalls, then take in the dramatic scenery at Lauterbrunnen Village, then stroll around Hohematte Park, and finally glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour.
