The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Fondation Beyeler and Limmat. Get in touch with nature at Lake Zurich and Strandbad Tiefenbrunnen. When in Zurich, make a side trip to see Swiss Science Center Technorama in Winterthur, approximately 32 minutes away. There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Old Town (Altstadt), admire the masterpieces at Museum of Art (Kunsthaus Zurich), wander the streets of Bahnhofstrasse, and take some stellar pictures from Lindenhof.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Zurich is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight, bus, and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Tel Aviv to Zurich. When traveling from Tel Aviv in August, plan for little chillier days in Zurich, with highs around 28°C, while nights are much colder with lows around 16°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Mon) so you can go by car to St. Moritz.
