Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Get some cultural insight at Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Popular historic sites such as Anne Frank House and Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House) are in your itinerary. Step out of Amsterdam with an excursion to Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem--about 34 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through The Jordaan, explore the world behind art at Hermitage Amsterdam, and get engrossed in the history at Verzetsmuseum Amsterdam.

On the 11th (Thu), learn about all things military at Museum of Croatian War of Independence, then take an in-depth tour of Upper Corner Tower Foundry Museum, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Dubrovnik City Walls, and finally get engrossed in the history at War Photo Limited. On the 13th (Sat), contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di San Marco, then explore the world behind art at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, then snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, and finally contemplate the long history of Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo (San Zanipolo). On the 14th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the long history of Doge's Palace, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza San Marco, and then take in panoramic vistas at St Mark's Campanile.

Surrounded by mountain ranges and boasting a well-preserved city center, Salzburg melds culture and history.
Visit Fortress Hohensalzburg Castle and Schloss Hellbrunn for their historical value. Relax by the water at Badestrand Hallstatt and Offentlicher Badeplatz Brauwiese. Get out of town with these interesting Salzburg side-trips: Kufstein Fortress (in Kufstein), Swarovski Kristallwelten (in Wattens) and Hallstatt (Beinhaus, Karner, Ossuary, Hallstatt Lutheran Church, &more). There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Salzburg Cathedral, take in the spiritual surroundings of Nonnberg Convent, take in nature's colorful creations at Mirabell Palace, and admire the masterpieces at Museum der Moderne Monchsberg.
