A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Take a break from the city and head to Île de la Cité and La Grande Cascade. For shopping fun, head to Champs-Elysees or Saint Germain des Pres Quarter. Venture out of the city with trips to Versailles (Palace of Versailles, The Hall of Mirrors, &more) and Arboretum de la Vallee-aux-Loups (in Chatenay-Malabry). The adventure continues: wander the streets of Le Marais, admire the landmark architecture of Sainte-Chapelle, admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay, and get to know the fascinating history of Montmartre.

Lucerne, Switzerland

In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.
Get outdoors at The Eiger and Parasailing & Paragliding. Shop till you drop at Bahnhofstrasse and Altstadt Luzern. Change things up with these side-trips from Lucerne: Maennlichen (in Grindelwald) and Old Town (in Zurich).
