Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Mon): take in the views from Hangebrucke, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Matterhorn, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Riffelsee. Keep things going the next day: get great views at Gornergrat, then make a trip to Mountaineers' Cemetery, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Intercontinental Church Society, and finally explore the activities along Stellisee.
