This is an amazing experience that you would be sorry if you miss it. The scenic views and the traditional train made us feel like this is something out of this world. Although you don't always get the classic train, you will always get a breath taking view all along the trip. In fact, I would even recommend getting a first class seat to avoid the crowd in popular seasons. We did, and the experience is totally worth it.

It was a fantastic journey from Montreux to Zweisimmen for 2 hours ride. Great panoramic view with mountainous view and lake view. GA travel pass will have free ride. We stop by major towns such Gustaad. Strongly suggest all tourist or locals to try this ride.
