Built surrounding a 16th-century fortified port, Alghero remains one of Sardinia's most visited sites, rich in cultural and historical heritage.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at La Pelosa Beach and IL KIOSCO BEACH STINTINO. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Spiaggia Rena Majore and Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju. When in Alghero, make a side trip to see spiaggia di Porto Ferro in Sassari, approximately Sassari away. Next up on the itinerary: learn about winemaking at Azienda Agricola Leda' d'Ittiri and take in nature's colorful creations at Sella & Mosca.
