Lucerne — 3 nights

In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lucerne: Zurich (Old Town, Europuddle, &more). There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Lucerne, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Jesuitenkirche, see the sky in a new way at Verkehrshaus der Schweiz, and snap pictures at Chapel Bridge.

Plan my Lucerne trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Philadelphia, USA to Lucerne is an approximately 12.5-hour flight. You'll lose 6 hours traveling from Philadelphia to Lucerne due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Philadelphia in May, things will get a bit cooler in Lucerne: highs are around 65°F and lows about 48°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Gimmelwald.
